Nan came to my home to consult on furniture placement and to help me sort through ideas for a number of home remodeling projects. Nan obviously enjoys what she does, and it translates into her work and personality. She is upbeat, friendly and filled with ideas and suggestions. I implemented some of the “easy” suggestions right away, and what a transformation to the room! I woke up this morning ready to make my house “perfect” for the next owner. Thank you so much for all your patience and understanding regarding this process. There was a great segment on The Today Show earlier about selling a home. It reassured me that I have been given great advice. Yesterday was most useful in that it truly did help me to see the house through a buyer’s eyes, and showed me many things I had done initially and had let fall by the wayside with time. We contacted Southern Staging and Redesign to guide us on updating the kitchen and 2 baths in our 20+ year old home. Our goal was to make choices that are current now, that will remain current until we decide to sell in the future. Nan was prepared and offered ideas with a great deal of insight on what might work, and what might not work for a future buyer. Most importantly, she listened far more than she spoke, taking in all of the information and concepts we needed to share about our taste and what we wanted to achieve. She was able to temper our unusual taste issues with features needed to make the house marketable, while not sacrificing the quality or appearance of the remodel.
